Come and enjoy this display of striking yet cheerful expression of art inspired by recognizable ethnically Hungarian motifs and designs with a 21st century twist. During this exhibition closing event, we will be joined by artist Melissa Katkó Pepin, and you'll have the opportunity to look at all the art intimately. Look closely and find lacework in the white background, examine the golden touches, all the intricate details, all that delights the eye.

Melissa has a deep-rooted passion for photography and printmaking coupled with extensive experience in teaching and practicing these disciplines. Her artwork encompasses various artistic processes and historical Hungarian methods.

Melissa Katkó Pepin, Artist / Photographer: “The Hungarian Motif is a central theme in my artistic practice, permeating various mediums from paintings and drawings to the intricate realms of photography and printmaking. My creative journey often begins with chance encounters with found objects, which I then reinterpret through my unique lens into forms that are delicate and adaptable to my artistic vision.”
